Our Story
The Treatment Advocacy and Literacy Campaign (TALC) began as a grassroots movement in June 2004, formed by activists and advocates concerned about limited access to affordable HIV treatment in Zambia.
On 5 August 2005, TALC was formally registered as a non-governmental organization. Since then, it has grown into a nationally recognized civil society organization operating in multiple provinces across Zambia.
TALC was established to fill critical gaps in:

A healthy Zambian society free of HIV and AIDS where all people have equitable access to treatment, care, and support.
Mission
To promote health, HIV and AIDS service delivery and uptake for people, especially people living with HIV (PLHIV), in Zambia through comprehensive rights-based approaches and advocacy.
